My 2016 started with ending one travel assignment and starting a new one in Dallas, Texas. 
This assignment was great because I was able to do it with my bestie. The work was hard but we got through it together. On our days off we were able to travel around Texas. Here are a few pictures…
The first photo is of Austin. The art and the food. Amazing!! The second is of the stock yards in Fort Worth. We saw a rodeo , had Mexican food and bought cowgirl hats. The last picture is of San Antonio’s river walk. We also saw The Alamo while we were there. All of these places are must see places.
The biggest thing that happened this year is moving overseas to Germany. Whoa!!! Quite a change from living in the US my whole life. Also we have been to Europe before but never to live. I have to say we are still adjusting but it’s getting better. I’m currently in German classes. It’s hard but totally worth it. Germany is also great because of the location. We border so many countries.
So far we have visited Switzerland, Amsterdam, Czech Republic, France, and of course local towns near us.
